You will need to have an email account setup on your mobile device so that you are able to send and receive emails (such as receipts) through the QwickPAY app. If you do not setup your email account before you begin using QwickPAY, then you will not be able to send transaction receipts.
1. Launch the App Store and search for QwickPAY.
2. Tap on "Install" then push the circular Home button on your device to return to the main menu.
3. Once the installation is complete, launch the QwickPAY app.
4. If you would like to perform a demo transaction, tap on the toggle button next to "Demo Mode with SCRA" from the Merchant Info screen. Any transactions processed while the App is set to Demo Mode will NOT be processed - this option is for testing and demonstration purposes only. Press "Done" to return to the Transaction screen. To perform a live transaction, continue to Step #10.
5. QwickPAY will return you to the main transaction screen and there will be a red bar at the top of the screen indicating that your device is disconnected. Insert the iDynamo SCRA into the bottom of the device.
6. When the SCRA is connected properly, the red bar at the top of the screen will change to green and will display "Device Ready."'
7. Tap on the line to the right of the Amount field, enter "1" and press "Submit" to process a penny transaction demo.
8. Once the demo transaction finishes processing, you will be able to review the details of transaction before the customer signs the receipt. Press "Sign" and use your finger or a stylus to sign above the signature line, then press "Done."
9. The next screen allows you to send a copy of the receipt to the customer. Press "Email Receipt" in the top right corner, then enter the customer's email address on the next screen. The email account associated with the app will automatically receive a copy of any emails you send from QwickPAY. Click "Send" in the upper right corner to email the receipt. If you'd like to try processing a live transaction, continue to the next step.
10. If you would like to try processing a live transaction instead of using demo mode, press "Menu" in the upper right corner of the app screen and select "Merchant Info." Make sure the "Demo Mode with SCRA" toggle button is set to the OFF position.
11. Enter your Merchant ID and password. These should have been emailed to you from either QwickPAY or your Reseller when you set up your account. Enter the email address where you would like to receive a copy of any emailed receipts and press "Done" when you are finished.
12. Now when you swipe a card through the iDynamo, the card information will populate the appropriate fields, with the Card Number and Expiration Date masked. Using your finger or a stylus, tap on the line or field to the right of "Amount". If you would like to test a live transaction, you can tap on the line to the right of the Amount field and enter "1" to process a transaction for one penny. When you hit submit, the account associated with the card you swiped will be charged $0.01.
13. This screen will indicate if the transaction was approved or declined in the Status field. If the card was declined and you believe it should not have been, you will need to contact your credit card company or processor. If the transaction is approved, you will next be prompted to sign for the transaction. Use your finger or stylus to sign above the signature line and click "Done" when finished.
14. The next screen allows you to send a copy of the receipt to the customer. Press "Email Receipt" in the top right corner, then enter the customer's email address on the next screen. The email account associated with the app will automatically receive a copy. Click "Send" in the upper right corner to email the receipt.
